2002 PHILADELPHIA GREEK PICNIC VENDOR REGISTRATION PACKAGE

 

Dear Vendor:

On behalf of NGNE and the 2002 Philadelphia Greek Picnic Committee, I would like to invite you to participate as a vendor on Saturday July 13, 2002 in Fairmount Park. The Greek Picnic is jointly sponsored by the Philadelphia Alumni Chapter of the National Pan Hellenic Council (Pan-Hel) and the City of Philadelphia.  NGNE (StepCorrect.com) is a promoter affiliated with the event.  Enclosed in this package, you will find the following information:

Vendor Registration Fees:  The vending fee for this event is $150.  Food trucks are $250 dollars.  All applications and fees must be turned in by June 28, 2002.  Please pay by cashier's check or money order.  Personal checks will not be accepted.  They will be returned, at YOUR COST!

City Licenses.  Keep in mind that to vend in the city of Philadelphia, you must have a permit.  Vendors selling dry goods will be charged $100 for a Temporary Business License.  Vendors selling food will be charged an additional $140.  For health and safety reasons, health officials will not allow food vendors to bring in pre-cooked food.  Food must be cooked on site.

To contact the City Licenses department, call (215) 686-2490 between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. EST.  The office is located at 1600 Arch Street, 9th Floor, in Philadelphia.  

Health Department:  The fee is based on space requirements.  Most of you will pay the $30 fee since your allotted space will be less that 200 square feet.

Space.  The vending areas are approximately 10 x 10 feet.  Pan-Hel members and city officials will be enforcing the space allotment.  Please do not attempt to bring trucks or trailers that are larger than the vendor space unless authorized through the $250 dollar payment (Food truck).  You must provide your own tables, and all materials and product must be with you when you check in.   VENDOR CHECK-IN BEGINS AT 6:30 a.m., JULY 13, 2002
